Attention: firms subject to EU SFDR disclosures. This week the joint ESAs proposed improvements to SFDR, addressed to the European Commission. Among the many changes suggested:-the creation of sustainability labels-clarifying the definition of “sustainability” in SFDR-extending the Taxonomy’s current environmental focus, to social issuesThe proposals are in light of the Commission’s public and targeted consultations on possible improvements to SFDR (mentioned in our previous RegTech Reports), about which the Commission recently provided an update.Next steps: Nothing soon.
